On October 21, 2025, the M3DAS project team convened a strategic meeting with representatives from the Department of AgricultureโSugar Regulatory Administration (DA-SRA), led by Mr. Max Edward Isada, who joined remotely, alongside his PPSPD-MIS team who attended in person at the UPLB Center for Agri-Fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization Conference Room. The session focused on continuous deployment strategies and long-term maintenance planning for the M3DAS Web Application, a platform for sugarcane mechanization resource mapping, monitoring and data analysis.
Discussions centered on technical performance, server reliability, and data privacy compliance, with a thorough review of system components and user dashboards. This initiative is necessary to finalize continuous deployment procedures, hosting solutions, and legal documentation to ensure sustainable implementation.
The M3DAS project is an initiative by the Center for Agri-fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization (BIOMECH) of the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos (UPLB), funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), in partnership with the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA).
