Strategic Support and Collaboration: Advancing Sugarcane Mechanization with DA-RFO 8

The Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (RAED) of the DA-RFO 8 in Tacloban City, Leyte, has formally expressed its strong support for the M3DAS project.

An initiative funded by DOST-PCAARRD and implemented in close coordination with the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), M3DAS is designed to provide a comprehensive analysis of the sugarcane industry’s mechanized landscape. By leveraging field evaluations, rigorous research, and advanced mapping techniques, the project aims to deliver a precise, data-driven roadmap for the nation’s agricultural modernization.
