On January 31, 2024, the M3DAS team conducted a specialized training session for enumerators on the utilization of the M3DAS Web Survey App at Peachtree Lodge, Ormoc City. The workshop equipped eight dedicated enumerators with the digital tools necessary for streamlined data gathering.
The event was highlighted by the presence and support of key Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) officials, including:
Ms. Ma. Lourdes Almodiente (Chief Agriculturist)
Mr. Rex Jinon (Supervising Agriculturist)
Ms. Rena Juntilla (Mill District Officer)
The training was spearheaded by the M3DAS project leadership, including Project Leader Engr. Alexis Del Rosario and Study Leader Engr. Marife Santiago, supported by team members Engr. Jenny Lachica, Mr. Richmond Bautista, and Engr. Patricia Garnet Joson.
This initiative is a centerpiece of the collaboration between UPLB-BIOMECH and the SRA, made possible through funding from DOST-PCAARRD.
