Alongside a series of activities in the Pampanga Mill District, the M3DAS team paid courtesy visits in government offices around Pampanga from October 8 to 9, 2025. These included the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office III, the Office of Provincial Agriculture – Pampanga, and the Municipal Agriculture Office – Floridablanca.
The formal visits included an introduction to the M3DAS project and information on the upcoming activities in the area. This collaboration will pave the way for a seamless implementation of the project’s objectives concerning the sugarcane mechanization.
The M3DAS project is an initiative by the Center for Agri-fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization (BIOMECH) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), in partnership with the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA).
