The M3DAS project team recently engaged in a consultative meeting with the UPLB-Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) to discuss the protection of the project’s digital innovations.
The primary focus of the meeting was to gain a comprehensive overview of the copyright application procedures and legal requirements for the M3DAS Web Survey Application and its integrated systems. This strategic step ensures that the software and analytical tools developed under the project are properly documented and protected as intellectual property.
By coordinating with the TTBDO, the M3DAS team is laying the necessary groundwork for the formal recognition and potential future scaling of the system, ensuring that the technological advancements made in sugarcane mechanization remain secure and credit-aligned with the implementing institutions.
