The M3DAS project has officially entered the second year of its third phase, shifting its strategic focus to the key sugar-producing provinces of Bukidnon, Davao del Sur, and Cotabato.
To ensure seamless implementation, the team convened a high-level online consultation meeting on September 25, 2024, with the Mill District Officers (MDOs) from the target regions:
Mr. Johnny Z. Agsaoay, Jr. (Bukidnon)
Mr. Resty R. Obiso (Davao del Sur)
Mr. Rex P. Dumalaba (Cotabato)
The meeting was further supported by the presence of Mr. Jean Paul Quirino from the SRA Main Office. The primary objectives of this consultation were to:
Contextualize Progress: Provide a comprehensive overview of the project’s history and milestones to date.
Align Objectives: Outline the specific goals tailored for the Mindanao sugar districts.
Strategic Planning: Present the proposed activities and operational timeline for the upcoming field sessions.
This collaborative session serves as the foundation for the project’s expansion into Mindanao, ensuring that local leadership and technical teams are fully aligned with the M3DAS mission of advancing sugarcane mechanization.
