On April 18, 2024, the M3DAS team successfully conducted its final Year 1 training session on the M3DAS Web Survey App at the Sugar Regulatory Administration – La Granja Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SRA-LGAREC) in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental. This event marks the successful conclusion of the project’s capacity-building activities for its inaugural year.
The session was attended by 48 participants representing five key Mill Districts: Ma-ao, San Carlos, BISCOM, SONEDCO-Dacongcogon, and La Carlota. The activity was distinguished by the presence of high-ranking SRA officials, including:

The M3DAS Project is a collaborative endeavor implemented by the UPLB-BIOMECH (Center for Agri-Fisheries and Biosystems Mechanization) and funded by DOST-PCAARRD, in steadfast coordination with the SRA.
As Year 1 comes to a close, the M3DAS Project Team extends its deepest gratitude to all participants and partners across Leyte, Negros Oriental, and Negros Occidental. Their active engagement and commitment have been instrumental in ensuring the success and productivity of these foundational training activities, setting the stage for a modernized, data-driven sugarcane industry.
